Big Girl Bed!
We transitioned Elena into a big girl bed recently. What girl would want to back to the crib after having a "Big Girl Bed Party"! I know what you are thinking, are we coo-coo? Well... maybe, but we got the idea from a friend and it has worked like a charm so far. After her first nap in the big girl bed, we had a cake waiting for her and candles to even blow out. We even sang "Happy Big Girl Bed" to the tune of Happy Birthday. She had a blast and is loving her new bed!!

Very smart parenting, Mary Ann. Pat had a rough transition to his big boy bed because I waited until little Mike was around. He emptied a bottle of Prell shampoo all over his carpet- bubbles and foam everywhere. Then he peed on his wall. YIKES! He turned out fine, but that was a very bad day.
I like the recent postings. i'll be in town apr 10th or 11th--that's a sun or mon--but i should be around for a full week, so hope to meet ups
