3 Months Young

I don't remember my 3 month birthday but man what a blast it must of been..sleeping, eating and pooping - now that's living. This is Evelyn after a nice feeding, impressive dump and long nap....why wouldn't she be smiling? Now that you're up Eve's - what cha going to next? get your eat on or poop on? or both? Hey - It's your day!

Happy 90 days Evelyn...Looking good.

HALLOWEEN 2011

Since when does Halloween last a week?! We are exhausted! Costume changes, candy consumption, glow sticks, sugar highs, sugar lows, pumpkins, pumpkin seeds, parades, zoo boos, school parties, work parties, house parties and wow a lot of pizza - It really is a fun time of year and Leni really had a blast at every event we attended but man it's been a scary crazy few days.... Elena looked super cute in all 4 costumes - ballerina, cowgirl, spider princess fairy and pink bunny - and actually cooperated for the most part for getting in and out of them. Evie had a blast her first Halloween. She didn't do much, but sure looked cute in her skeleton outfit. Hard to believe that next year both girls will be racing around trying ot get as much candy as they can.

On the way to the neighborhood Halloween Parade!

So...Who Does Leni Look like?

Everyone looks at Elena and because of her big blue eyes and blond hair... quickly jumps to the conclusion that she's a "little Mary" - Well, she's also blessed with some of dada's finer features. Couldn't help but capture this moment (and share).... a picture is worth a thousand words.

Definitley dada's daughter.

Nice Dupa!

FA11 is Here!!

Kelly's Island..Mary's B'Day

The Dales hit the road this weekend for Kelly's island to visit the Vizmeg family and celebrate Mary's birthday. It was our first "road trip" with the whole family.... at one blissful point we had all 3 ladies (Elena, Evelyn and Koney) all asleep in the backseat....You learn to REALLY appreciate the peace and quite (especially when we're all jammed in a jeep together) cause without notice, chaos can and always does, resume. It was a beautiful weekend to be on the island. We were able to relax, spend some time at the beach, celebrate Mary's birthday at a Clam Bake and have some good fun with the family....with and without the girls. ; )

Wedding time!

This weekend was Jason's dad's wedding. It was a ver nice, intimate affair. The kids had a blast, Elena loved getting dressed up in her princess outfit ;o) Oh yeah, she is wearing her tap shoes too! I even heard she did a dance for a bunch of people while I was changing Evie's diaper. I have to sign this kid up for a dance class. We all had a great time. Congrats Dad and Sue! We love you both!

2 Months Old!

Here are Evelyn's 2 month photos. She is definately becoming a big girl. She is already growing out of her 3 month clothes! I feel like I just organized all the clothes and now I have to pack them away and bring out the 6 month clothes! OMG! This is so different then with Elena. Leni was 3 months in 3 month clothes and so on. This girl is such a chunk! She is so long too. I am sure, Evie and Leni will be sharing clothes sooner rather then later.

Looking Cute 4 School

I LOVE these hightops!

Her Mini Mouse dress!

Tap Dancing

Elena loves to tap dance. She saw a clip on Yo Gabba Gabba of some boys tap dancing and she was convinced she could so it as well. When my neighbor dropped off some black shoes we were borrowing for Grandpa Dave's wedding, Elena's eyes lit up.... TAP SHOES, YEAH!! Here is a short clip of her tap dancing. It takes a sec for the rythem to get from her head to her toes....but once she gets the hang of it, the stomping and jumping, excuse me..."tapping"... goes on forever.
Poor Evie.... I think she was tired of the show after a while.

Making Cookies

Last weekend, Elena and Da-Da made chocolate chip cookies. They were delish! Elena is really loving to cook and bake. Thanks to my Canadian cousins for my cute T-shirt, eh?!

Little Cupcake!

Thought this picture was cute. Love this blue top... It was one of my favorites when Elena wore it as well. Something about this blue really brings out both of the girls' blue eyes. Evie is getting so big!

Elena meeting her favorite star, Dora!

We have a seedy Mexican joint that is near us that we visit often on their kids nights. They people dressed up as characters dressed up in terrible costumes (see the Mickey Mouse post).... and I mean so terrible, that they are borderline freaky. It doesn't matter though, Elena and all the rest of the kids in that restaurant LOVE it. The place is always packed on kids night.

See what we mean?

Getting a tattoo!

How does your garden grow?

Elena and I had fun with the garden this year. She loves going out there to collect the red tomatoes and peppers in her basket. The few cherry tomatoes she eats while out there is basically one of the only healthy things that will put in her mouth! I had fun making memories with the veggie garden, and I am already excited to make more next year with both girls!

Say What?!

This is when Evie first learned of Grandpa Dave's engagement to Sue.

Say, What?!..... NICE!
