Elena and I went out Sunday evening to find ourselves the perfect Dale Christmas Tree. It wasn't the most ideal "christmas" of conditions.... but we turned up the christmas carols and splashed our way through the rain and mud with smiles until we found the perfect tree. Leni picked out a beauty. Our search/experience actually lasted about 2 minutes. Elena wanted the first tree she saw and there was no negotiating it... "this one dada"...... "well, what about this one leni it looks good too"......."no, this one dada." Ok - that one it is.
So the best part was after loading it up on the roof and tieing the tree down, I brought the end of the string in through the window and handed it to Elena. I told her to hold on tight cause she was the one holding the tree on the roof... We opened up the sunroof shade so she could see the tree peaking/moving through the glass on the roof.
She was a cutie and took her job darn serious.. "It moved dada!!"....."Hold on Leni!!"... "I am dada!!".... "You're strong Leni"... "Yea... I am strong"
